MAC N CHEEEESE!!!!

Burke's Bar
645 Bronx River Road
Yonkers, NY
(914) 237-5137
BurkesBar.com

Burke is a sport bar that serves the typical wings, nacho, burger and beers with tv screens blasting with various sport events. But the only reason that keeps making me stop by is the Macaroni and Cheese dishes. And if you know me, you would know that I love love (I did not stutter) Mac n Cheese. Last time, I tried the cheeseburger Mac n Cheese and that was amazing. This time, I had the Cajun Mac n Cheese and the hot sausages give the kick in the dish - it was very spicy and tasty.

Greek Hummus - $7

Cajun - Hot sausage with red pepper - $9

Bacon and Mozzeralla Mac n Cheese - $9

A popular drinking spot in Montreal. Brasseurs means Brewers. They make their own beers; three huge brewery stations are mostly located on the 2nd floor. The place is very comfortable with the young college students and young professionals hanging around for a night light beer. Definitely try the blonde - it has a aromatic taste with a hint of sweetness. I had the strawberry margarita. I wish it was served in a margarita glass but then again, it's a beer place so I can't complain. I didn't get to try any bar food but it's probably great.

Tortoise & Hare

Tortoise & Hare Bar
567 South 23rd Street
Arlington, VA
www.tortoiseandharebar.com

Opened August 2007, Tortoise and Hare is a neighborhood bar created by neighborhood owners. Brian Montgomery and Erik Dahlseid are long time Arlington residents who decided they wanted to have a place they could call their own. Creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and part of something new, Brian and Erik invite you to come in and enjoy great food at a great value, your favorite sporting events, music, NTN trivia, and the feel of a comfortable place that restaurant row in Crystal City has been waiting for. Ask for them, meet them and their wonderful staff, and you will see why people come in and come back to the Tortoise & Hare Bar and Grille.

The above summary was taken from the website I have posted. I agreed, it a homely restaurant where they plastered with plasma tvs of all type of sports. We decided to go on a road trip to Virginia on our Memorial weekend. We came on the time where all the Harley Davidson bikers arrived, so we saw some of them at the bar. The place is dim but enough light to see the menus. Nice space and beautiful setting. They have Movie night on Monday and Karoake night at 9pm. The waitstaffs are amicable with friendly smiles. They all dressed in their tortoise & hare tshirts, which is so adorable.

As for the food, delicious. We piled our table with many variety of appetizers but my favorite is the crab dip with flat breads. Their $6 bucks frozen margarita was so yummy. I was satisfied with the services and the warm welcome.
