Minni's Shabu Shabu has changed the interior decor. It looks very modern and simple. The broth is simple and delicious. And the meat selection varies and the prices aren't that bad. I've been coming to this place a couple of time and never have any complaints.

It's a popular spot in Chinatown part of Philadelphia. I was told that the line can be extended outside of the restaurant. The place is small but the waiting isn't hat bad. It's well worth the wait. The portion is huge for a small price. The noodle is all made by hands in the back. Definitely need to try this place when you get here.

Known for their dim sum in Portland, Oregon. It's sort of the tourist spot. Not a fan for their dim sum or the service but I love the decor. It has the traditional chinese architecture. I makes me feel like the old days.

It's one of the best Chinese buffets that I've been to in years. The ambiance is simple and pretty. The prices is great - 8.99 for lunch and 13.99-14.99 for dinner depending on the days and holiday. They have a lot of varieties from Chinese take out dishes to specialty sushi. They even have raw food where you pick your selections and a chef will cook it for you. Desserts sections has pastries, fruits, veggies and ice creams.

My friend requested Kam Fung for a good dim sum. Was also heard that it's so fresh that they make it every morning. We went there at 10am and we were so early that we were the only two sitting which somewhat great because we got the special treatment. The food was great. Definitely a something to try if you get to Montreal.

Mohegan has renovated and has a lot of eateries but I was impressed with the Asian eateries. In my opinion, Asians love gambling particularly the older ones. Asians also love buffet but going to an Asian eateries are good enough. Cove is a good Asian fusion restaurant. The food is great and simple. I ordered my congee. Pork and duck eggs congee is a typical Cantonese congee and it tastes very good.

Attempting to go to Joe's Ginger, we passed by King of Casserole not thinking about going to the place. After my craving for bubble tea, we stopped by and decided we need to try it. King of Casserole recently open the beginning of 2010. The day after, we stopped by for lunch and OH BOY! It was delicious. There soup is a miracle, having a lot of flavors. Definitely a place to try a good beef noodle casserole. All kinds of Casserole (12 kinds) from Pork Chop, Ox Tail, Roast Duck, Lamb, Vegetable, Seafood, Beef Stewed,,Fish Ball, Baby Clam with a choice of Noodles....Vermicelli, Rice, Pull, Instant or Udon Noodles... Prices were incredibly cheap from $4.95 to $6.25. I had the marinated porkchop with sour cabbage over rice and I made the right choice. The dishes are under 8 bucks. The place is simple and comfy. And also can try the bubble drinks.

I've been a fan of Joe's Shanghai restaurant, which opens in 4 different locations and three are in New York- Whoo hoo. They are known for the small steam buns, Xiao Long Bao, in the wooden cage. The prices are reasonable. In my opinion, if you can't get into Joe's Shanghai then Joe's Ginger is the next best thing since it's right next to each other in Chinatown and it's both under the same owner and chef, Joe Si. And warning, there is a waiting. I noticed a lot of non Asian people love both the restaurants so it's popular food for the Americans.

Joe's Ginger has two levels and we happened to be seated on the 2nd food. Our orders came quick. Definitely, the small meat buns were worth it. Wish they weren't stingy on the dipping sauce and give us two dipping sauces instead of just one for 5 people and especially ordering 4 cages. It's definitely a great experience. I need to go back to Joe's Shanghai and compared the dishes. Maybe I can tell them apart.


We ordered 4 cages for 5 people. That's alot.
