Sex-in-the-City-fabulous-style at Thor

THOR
107 Rivington Street
New York, NY 10002

THOR writes...
Thor, derived from the acronym for The Hotel on Rivington, Executive Chef Jesi Solomon (formerly of The Stanton Social) offers a New American Bistro menu with emphasis on bold regional flavors, and modernized classic bistro fare. The flexible menu offers dishes from small plates and sides to shared plates and entrees. Patrons will experience a new feeling of intimacy by sitting under the six foot black Phillipe Starck for Baccarat Chandeliers that have been added to complement Marcel Wanders’s original soaring design. Curtains designed by Ateliers Charles Jouffre from Paris are also a new addition to Thor, adding warmth to the dining space. The airy dining room features a 21-foot soaring glass ceiling that offers views of the Lower East Side’s historic tenement buildings. Thor serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

I love love the bathroom setting at Thor - Fabulous!

Thor has a sexy decor, especially a Bachorette brunch we were having. I think the hostess looks like Naima from America Top Model.

I love the prefix brunch. It was 18 bucks from the selected entrees in http://www.hotelonrivington.com/thor.html with two alcoholic drinks (mimosa, bellini, pear-a-dise, sangria, and bloody mary) and unlimited tea and coffee. I ordered the snapper sandwich which was alittle messy. The sauce was leaking from the sandwich. It was delicious especially the crispy fries that I think was fried in truffle oils. I had a great time. I would definitely would like to go back again.
