Beef tenderloin with morels, served with mashed potatoes and crunchy vegetables

I guess you get what you pay. It was an upscale French restaurant locating in a local residential area. It's very empty; we were the only ones there. I love it because it feels like a seclusive restaurant just for us. The waiter escorted us to our table by the water. It was so romantic hearing the splashing of the water by the rocks. We ordered a bottle of red wine. The french onion soup was so good. The crust on the top was broken from the waiter's assistance. The baked cheese created a great taste with the saltiness of the soup. It was hot and stayed hot for a while, which is great plus. The waiter gave us a complimentary dish of mushroom with sauce on top; delicious. The fish entree was so tasty and fulfilling; I had Vince to finish it off for me. His steak dish was a small portion but was very savoring. I felt like I was wearing a million dollar on my shoulder having to experience this kind of treatment.

Price: Around $200

Grade: A+

I believe it's called "Le Santal" - in Sandy Ground, right?

Were you vacationing in St. Maarten? Hope you enjoyed the restaurants. I like the pics you took!

Next time, you should check out the restaurants on DineSXM before you leave.

Have fun!
