La Mei looks like a new family based shop that just opened this year. It's a small restaurant that can fit appr. 30 people. Each seat has a stove warmer that contain a pot of soup of your liking such as curry, chicken, hot spicy and pickled - I prefer herbal soup. This place compared to little lamb and shabu shabu is that it has a feeling like I'm in Asia from its modern and cute decor. Service is great and they don't rush you like any shops in Flushing.
