Ilili just opened up this year. It brings the elegant ambiance in the Flatiron area. It's a premier contemporary Lebanese restaurant offering inspired Mediterranean cuisine. Restaurateur and Chef/owner Philippe Massoud, has developed a menu that mixes authentic Lebanese dishes with modern flavors.

It was my boss' birthday and decided to treat her lunch at Ilili which was suggested by one of my co-workers. It took a while for our seating since the hostess was seating a large party. We sat down on a very comfy chairs, which I think is a big plus. The waitstaff was very friendly. I ordered a lunch pre-fix, which is $25 and selecting an entree and either two of each sides or salads. The service was good except when I requested ketchup and our desserts - took a while for those. After 2 hours and a half (lunch break is only 1 hour) and $158 for four, we went back to work feeling very satisfied. The food was great and the place is beautiful. I will come back again, especially for the Phoenician Fries and the Lebanese Ice cream that is chewy and tasty.
