I went to Morton's in Stamford, CT, for dinner with my boyfriend and his friends. As an semi-Vegetarian, I'm not fond with Steakhouse but I gave it a try. Once you open the door, it lead you to another door where the hostess greets you. The place looks like a basement with no windows. Very elite and cozy. Our awesome waitress, Amanda, came over with a cart of samples for our prospective entrees. She had a tray of variety of steaks, vegetables and a live lobster with a missing leg on the tray. Peta won't be happy about that. I freaked out and asked the waitress not to have it in my sight.

We devoured the starter french bread. We bought our own red wines, 2 bottles worth $300. The first one, which costs $250 was so light and smooth.

That night had a feeling of TGIF because we had almost 6 birthdays, which consists of 6 Happy Birthday songs, especially that one person thinks he is the next American Idol.

Another view of the facade. That tree is in the way.

Information about the sculpture

Baked Five Onion Soup $11
"The bowl was hot but the cheese was semi cold and hard. I ended up using a fork to pick it up. The soup was a little bit salty. Not great

Side orders $$$
"Mac and Cheese was my favorite but I rather have KFC's mac and cheese instead."

Sesame Encrusted Yellowfin Tuna $33
"I ordered medium rare, which doesn't mean giving me a cold tuna. It was tough and hard to chew. Presentation was nice. Couldn't finish it and ended up packing it up so I can cook it myself."

Filet Oskar around $50
"I was told that it was great. Then again, it's a steakhouse, so it better be great."

Creme Brulee with Raspberry $$$
It was cold and hard. Not the best creme brulee I had.
