What I love about St. Marks Place is that you can find real Japanese food with the Japanese vibe. This East Village area has the lively people with the coolest styles and fashions. There are many Japanese places to choose. We tried Oh!Taisho and the waiting takes around 45 minutes because of the small place but it's worth it. There were many people outside waiting because they knew it's awesome. We finally got in and we were welcomed by the servers' greeting in Japanese. I stayed in the corner back of the restaurant.

Caplico Frozen or Non Frozen - Small $6.50 Xlarge $13.50 - Well Worth it

Seafood Spring Rolls $5.75

Lobster Balls

Japanese Pancake with squid, shrimp & Pork $6.75

Semi eaten - Supa Tuna Don $9.95 (spicy tuna tatar w/ soft boiled egg over rice with miso-miso is not in the picture)

Yatori - chicken balls, chicken skins, beef tongue, scallion, shrimps (10 skewers) $13.50
Beef tongues were too tough and chewy - not as great.
