It's a very small diner with the capacity of 10 indoor and 20 outdoor. The diner is known for the chili so I had to try the chili fries. It was spicy and meaty. I had to tried there 3 hotdogs in a bun, which was very fulfilling. The meal was okay. It came out to be around 28 bucks.

Very excited that it was my first time to have a garbage plate. A Garbage Plate is a combination of one selection of cheeseburger, hamburger, red hots, white hots, Italian sausage, chicken tender, fish (haddock), fried ham, grilled cheese, or eggs; and two sides of either home fries, French fries, baked beans, or macaroni salad. It's the level of grossness and goodness.

We went to a warehouse in the back. Luckily the line wasn't line since I always hear that it's always packed. The meal was decent since we printed out the $2.00 off coupon on their website. My meal came out to be around 8 bucks. The food was good. Definitely filled me up. Not sure if I could have garbage all the time but it was a good experience.

In a small town of Utica, where the population is very minute but they are known for there breweries. We went to a place call Nail Creek. It's a cute house like pub. We stayed outside to catch the sun. What I appreciate the most is that the food is made from scratch, affordable and it's delicious. Definitely, the spinach artichoke was my best dish.

I kept hearing about Mary Ann's and wanted to try it out. Since the one in Portchester has been relocated, I definitely need to try it out. I love the interior decor: it looks like a puebla, like it brings us to their home. The service is good. My margarita was pretty strong. We ordered chicken fajita and guacamole. I didn't have a big appetite but my guacamole was delicious.

If Portchester is far from you then you can check out their franchise in Tribeca and Chelsea in the Metro Area.

My sister and I had brunch around artsy spot at 23rd st. We were a bit hungry and wanted food. Rafaella was the closet other than pizzerias. I love Rafaella because it reminds me of Paris. Relaxing music and cute comfy seats, and there even cushion couch to sit on. We got the $12.95 brunch special, here we pick a choice of entree plus a choice of mimosa and sangria and a choice of tea or coffee. The food was good and decent price.

The name says it all. The place is a good hangout spot, maybe a college place. I love how the waiter asked me how I like my burger, which is medium rare. They served my burger with two pieces of bread. It's definitely one of the best burger spots I had. My single burger($4.25) with gorganzola cheese (1.75), pickles, tomatoes($.97), and cooked onion was $6.97. It was well worth it.

Tasty tender steak is all I can think about when I hear Chuck's. My significant other ordered sliders and the meat was well done instead of dry like the others. Chuck's has an excellent unlimited salad bar and of course, cornbread - drools. It's a cozy place to bring for a special occasion. The service was a bit confusing because we had 4 waitstaffs taking care of us.

We went on a Monday around 7pm. The place wasn't busy but love the surrounding. It's decorated in pictures of fans of Amici II. The service was very mellow. The wait staffs were somewhat outside trying to get customers to come in the restaurant and serving us at the same time. The food was definitely excellent. Maybe it's the pink that got to me. Definitely, it's a place to go in Little Italy if you have an urge for pasta and pink sauce.

It's a popular spot in Chinatown part of Philadelphia. I was told that the line can be extended outside of the restaurant. The place is small but the waiting isn't hat bad. It's well worth the wait. I asked a person what to do in Oregon and he said, "Voodoo Donuts". So, I got to try it. Portland, Oregon is a hipster place with handful of homeless people. What I love about Portland is that they have a bunch of mobile food carts of all type of foods in different culture.

I ordered a glazed (to be safe), captain my captain, maple and dirt donuts. My favorite is dirt donut, oreo on top of vanilla frosted donut. And the prices for these donuts goes from $95 to 1.50.

It was formerly named as Caridad and now it's Colonial. The place is always busy. They display rotisserie chickens the front which is good marketing. They have happy hour drinks from 4-7 or 4-6, I'm assuming you need to go and check it out yourself.

If you want to experience Italy without having to go to there, then Eataly is the place to go. It's a busy place. Having to find a table for some good ole cheese and meat with wine can be a while unless you are lucky. The price is decent and can share with friends. After many years living in the Bronx, I've finally had food at F&J Pine Tavern. I kept hearing rumor of their very pricey food. Once I have somewhat of the finance, I decided to try it. I went on New Year Eve because I had an urge for Mexican food. The place was empty. It was a diner turned into a Mexican restaurant. It's fairly new so not a lot of people know about it. Then again, they are competing with Mary Ann's Mexican restaurant that is located next block from them.

Like - Fresh Guacamole made right front of you, can't get better than this. We had to be sneaky when getting our happy hour drinks from the bar to the table because the wait staff wasn't happy about it. The margarita was okay. I ordered the marinated steak on two tortillas - very delicious and juicy. Well worth it. We had two desserts, the flan and the crepes with ice cream. I preferred the flan.

There was a lady performing at the happy hour section. She was more like in a karaoke contest. She was very loud so it distracted our quiet dining.

It's definitely a good to try it out. The price is decent and the service is great. Then again, it took a while to get out check. Try it for yourself.

A continous snowstorms in January didn't stop me and my aquintances from finding a good eatery spot. We had a urge for Indian food. The place was empty due to the weather but love the quiet and private mood. The food was very yummy and quick. We ordered Chicken Tikki Masala, Chicken Madra and Chicken Vindaloo, range from regular, spicy to too spicy that you need many glasses of water.

It's definitely a great place to take your friend or family to a nice place for good Puerto Rican food. It's a warehouse turned into a restaurant. Disadvantage: Valet Parking is mandatory and I'm assuming coat check, too, unless you can sneak your way without surrendering your coat. Advantage: The portion is very generous; feel free to pack it for leftover.

The place is packed on a Friday night. It was so busy that the waitstaff didn't fill the water or give us bread in the beginning but gave bread to the two tables near us. Then again, it was fine because I'm staying away from carbs. I tried Don Conqui Sangria (Pear flavored with pear pieces), which wasn't as good that I thought. I rather stay with my red sangria, which always the best and safe choice.

I think everyone should try the empanadas, not just for the empanadas but their special dipping sauce; it was amazing. If they sell the dipping sauce I would be the first one to buy it.

As for our entrees - Fabulous. My churrasco was the best. Best choice ever. I tried the Pork Mofongo and find it okay, not too excited about it

I love how the staffs sang Happy Birthday and everyone around us did the same. And a photographer will come around and take pics.

Beer and pizza are all you needed at this place. The pizza is unique because of their thin crusted pie and what's awesome is the hot oil they added that brings out the spiciness. I didn't like the fact that when the cook finished the pie and placed it on the tray and he would piled it on top another pie - not sure if that's sanitary.

Waiting, waiting, waiting - that's basically what we did. It was packed around Thanksgiving week. Didn't want to wait around 30-45 mins for a table but ended up sitting at the bar. Waiting for the pizza took another 30 mins. I guess it was well worth the wait.

It's a popular spot for great bbq food. Avoid holidays, especially Christmas - waiting will be around an hour and more. It's funny that I was knitting while waiting for the table. The place has a nice, warm atmosphere.

If it wasn't for the bartender, it wouldn't be as memorable than I would think. While waiting for one of our friends that came an hour and a half late, we started off with a Crab, Spinach and Artichoke dip ($13) - holy crap, best dip ever. Disadvantage - it made me very full for entree. Once our friend showed up, we were seated upstair. I ordered New England clam chowder and I was very pleased with my selection. The texture was kind nice and very flavorable. My friend's salmon platter was great because of the crispy grilled aroma and it was definitely yummy. And, if you go to the website and sign up, you can get discount which we did. Saved us $15 bucks. But come for the good vibe and good food.

I loved family based restaurant. It was very homey because their niece came in the restaurant and brighten the whole place. The place is comfy and has a good vibe. The food was good. Sala means "living room" in Spanish. It doesn't actually look like a living room when you step inside but ask them to bring you downstair and that's when they have a leather couch with a huge flat screen tv. The purpose of going to Sala was a pre-wedding dinner. The place has bright colors of orange and red to bring out the Spanish style. The interior is very homey. The drink could be better; drinks are weak. I had 5 drinks and didn't even feel buzzed. But the food is amazing. Shish Kabab was tender and favorable. Portchester has many South American food but mostly Peruvian eateries. Misti is one of the many but I love the environment and prices. I picked this restaurant because of the amount of people equal to good food and good service - that' my opinion. Service was quick but getting the check was a work since our waitress was juggling with a lot of tables. Food was a good and a great experience. I heard about it on Diners, Dive and Drive-in in the food channel and I wanted to try it out. It's like the east side version of Pink's in California. Known for the variety toppings for the hot dogs and as well as the fries. Not too crazy about finding the awesome fries but the hotdogs - yes. I love how they cut the hot dog in half before putting the toppings. Not fond of the Californian hotdog because of the smoky chili. I love the Chicago Hot dog because of the mustard and onion combination. Definitely come to this small hot dog stand in Connecticut. Parking can be a little tricky since it's very limited. I suggest parking across the street and walk over.

La Mei looks like a new family based shop that just opened this year. It's a small restaurant that can fit appr. 30 people. Let's make it short. It's a great place for good spanish food in a great environment. I had the arroz con pollo (chicken with rice) and it was delicious and tender. The complimentary plantain chips and salsa is a starter and it's different from the rest. The waiter suggested that we should try the red wine sangria and yes it was fabulous, especially for $28 for a pitcher was the kicker. I came across Dickey's by mistake. I was looking for something not particularly in food and their grand opening sign opened my eyes. I also noticed mac n cheese and I LOVE MAC AND CHEESE so I must go and check it out. The people were really nice maybe because the place was empty. They suggested I should try the beef brisket and I agreed. The food was great. I was very pleased with the creaminess of the mac and cheese. The bread wasn't great but it's wasn't the main item of my plate. Beef Brisket was fabulous. They have a jar filled with cut pickles for the customers - unlimited, I guess. After the meal, I went for the free vanilla ice cream either in a cup or a waffle cone. For $9, you can't go wrong with that. I ended feeling very satisfied.

My goodness - I just went to the website and noticed that it's almost dominated the whole US and I just found out about this place.

I heard from someone that the crepes at The Skinny Pancakes are fabulous, so I had to definitely try it myself. I got the chance to go to Vermont last weekend. I went to Echo, a science museum for kids, for my trip and found that the skinny pancake is right next door - museum and dessert, can't get better than this. I had the lovemaker and the combination of strawberries and chocolate hit the spot. It's my new pick when I get my next crepe. The poutine we had weren't my favorite because it had a very strong smoky taste. It killed the taste of the cheese curds. Overall, waiting was long (waited 40 mins) but the crepes were worth the wait.

The family took my mom to Sik Gaek for their awesome seafood. And this time, we got crazy and ordered a lot of seafood. I love their complimentary fried eggs, spicy thick pasta and steamed egg bowl. We, again, ordered the pot of Clams, mussels and shrimps. But, we ordered the huge pot that comes with a live lobster, crabs, clams, mussels, calamari, noodle and veggies. Not pleased with the fact that the lobsters were half cooked and still alive. It was moving for a good while until one of the staffs came over with scissor to cut it apart. Not also I screamed the top of my lung, probably I should scream out PETA, but I was shaking until he was done cutting. I refused the to eat the huge pot until the end they handled me a bowl of noodle and veggies from the same pot with the sad lobsters - I feel bad for that. Overall, the food was good, the vibe was great and the whole crew came out to sing for my mom and put a ridiculous fro on my mom. Pic below.

My brother has been dying to go to Sik Gaek for the longest for their late night seafood grubs. The place run by young Korean staffs. We came in the beginning of the Fifa World Cup so they were rooting for South Korea. They were all dressed up with Korean flags and cute face paint. It's definitely a good place to come after a night clubbing or being insomniac with a hunger craving. If you love love (yea, I worte it twice) seafood then this is the place for you. Not a cheap place but the price is reasonable. They have this killer watermelon filled with sake that costs around $80. If you ordered a pot of seafood, the soup is transferred into a noodle soup for free. Great vibe.

It was not what I thought it was going to be. We stepped inside and noticed that it was a family based restaurant like literally it could have been in a living room and we were invited for an occasion. Their two sons were sitting by the couches flipping channels which was a pet peeves for us. The boss lady was very amicable and took care of our order and I think she made the food for us. The father and his friends were smoking hookah in the back and yelling his sons to turn to one channel so we won't feel out of place. The daughter helped a little by handling us the oil and vinegar. Except for those, the food was great. It has the feel of traditional home cooked meal for great portions and great prices.

I love the atmosphere in this small joint. It decorated with classic Elvis, Marilyn Manroe and old diner pictures. They played the oldies music. ....it's better. My friend, Tina, recommended us to try St-Viateur's Bagels. Even though we were still full from lunch, we gave in to try this infamous bagel shop we keep hearing about. They have this wooden oven out in the front where this one guy placing a bunch of bagels in the row on a wooden plank. You can't get any fresher than this. Each bagel costs around 75 cents. We tried the Sesame seed bagel and it was very delicious and doughy in the middle. It has a great wooden aroma in the bagel. So, when is St-Viateur coming to New York? We picked this spot because of the atmosphere. Best Crepe I ever had. Montreal is highly influenced with French culture so my mission was to find the most yummiest crepe. I was so happy to find the first crepe place and was very satisfied with the result. It's a small shop but very comfy. It was closing at the time so I was reluctant to order anything until the lady behind the counter told me that I can order out. Mitsuwa is the largest Japanese supermarket in the Eastcoast. It's located in New Jersey. The parking is such a hassle but you have to be very lucky to get a spot. A popular drinking spot in Montreal. Brasseurs means Brewers. They make their own beers; three huge brewery stations are mostly located on the 2nd floor. The place is very comfortable with the young college students and young professionals hanging around for a night light beer. Attempting to go to Joe's Ginger, we passed by King of Casserole not thinking about going to the place. After my craving for bubble tea, we stopped by and decided we need to try it. Bunny Chow has a sense of happiness and friendliness. They recently opened the restaurant this year. It has a mixture of a bar and few tables for dinner. The owners were present at the time of my girls night. We happened to be on the same night of a fundraiser so a lot of people with cute accents. The place was so laid back with drinkers and the drinks were decent price. I tried the lychee mojito and it was so delicious without the overpower of alcohol. One word to describe Tajin: hunble. It's an authentic Mexican restaurant serving great food without killing your wallet. I finally tried Chimichanga, is a deep-fried burrito, which was delicious eventhough I should watch my diet, maybe another time. The place isn't the stylish, trendy that you think of Financial District but it's sort of feel warm and cozy. I saw good ratings at this restaurant so it's worth to try it.

I've been a fan of Joe's Shanghai restaurant, which opens in 4 different locations and three are in New York- Whoo hoo. They are known for the small steam buns, Xiao Long Bao, in the wooden cage. The prices are reasonable. In my opinion, if you can't get into Joe's Shanghai then Joe's Ginger is the next best thing since it's right next to each other in Chinatown and it's both under the same owner and chef, Joe Si. And warning, there is a waiting. I noticed a lot of non Asian people love both the restaurants so it's popular food for the Americans.

Joe's Ginger has two levels and we happened to be seated on the 2nd food. Our orders came quick. Definitely, the small meat buns were worth it. Wish they weren't stingy on the dipping sauce and give us two dipping sauces instead of just one for 5 people and especially ordering 4 cages. It's definitely a great experience. I need to go back to Joe's Shanghai and compared the dishes. Maybe I can tell them apart.

Outback Steakhouse is an Australian themed steakhouse restaurant. It's a franchise restaurant which mainly known for the Blooming Onion but make sure you have over 4 or more people because it's a fatty appetizer, over 1000 calories.

Not really an Outback fan but haven't had it for a while. The server was very awesome - she told us the run down on the menu and the secret sauce for my PorK Tenderloin dish. The service was great and fast.

My first time having tapas and I was thinking that if I want tapas then I must do it right and going to Barcelona was it. The place has a nice ambiance. It's very busy on a Friday night - waiting was around 20 mins. The small dishes were so delicious. Small portion so it savors the taste more than making your stomach heavy. The server was great and effective. And the service was fast and great. Would like to come again.

I remembered two years ago, Tosca was advertising in commercial and ads in front of my house. I went last year on a date and I was amazed by the trendy and modern look at the place. The advertising did worked since it was a waiting to be seated. It's an Italian restaurant with a touch of Japanese and American comfort food. I only go there for the pizza because the prices are reasonable and the portion okay. While you are enjoying the food, the music is pumping with a mixture of hip hop and pop. And I heard Salsa Monday - I guess you need to check for yourself.

This is the third time coming to Tosca and it's always a great experience at the place. I went 3 weeks ago and of course, we ordered pizzas. And appetizer - calamari.

I took my friend to Curry in a Hurry for a quick meal. My friend grew up in Bangalore, India suggested we should get Chicken Boti Kabab. My food fanatic, Chris, and I happened to stumble upon Dobbs Ferry for a night grub. There is a small town with mostly Italian restaurants. As we were walking on a nice day, we stopped by Sushi Mike's. It was really packed and we wanted to check it out. It was Zagat review in 2005 and 2006, considered the Best of Westchester of 04, 05 and 06 and good reviewed in New York Times. The waiting for long; waited almost 45 minutes to get the bar seating. Meanwhile, we can stared at the beautiful aquarium with colorful fish. One of the patient customers told me that the place is delicious and it's always crowded in the summer time. The host, Mike, suggested all the waiting customers to go to the next restaurant for some drinks at an Italian restaurant; giving them some profits - I guess that's good.

We finally got to our seats and I was anticipating for the good sushi. It was so busy, the waitress forgot our menus. She was so sweet and apologized and handed us a wet wipe. We ordered sushi and shrimp teriyaki - it was good. The price is reasonable. And the service was good. Definitely would like to try it again.

No. 1 Front Street wasn't packed on a Friday night due to the fact that Girmaldi is close by. No. 1 Front is a nice, relaxing, and romantic area but very dark. I went to the place because their great prices on drinks. $5 Vodka drinks. The food was great. Service can be a little hard to find especially when asking for the checks. Overall, it was good.

Linden Place is not an ordinary Dim Sum spot. It served the typical dishes but with a whole Venetian style ambiance. The prices of the small, medium, large and special dishes are at a reasonable prices - starting at $1.35. There are a free parking spot but then again you have to tip the valet guy at a minimum $2 tip. After brunch, there is a pool hole or a bowling alley near by - wait there is a movie theater, as well.

It's a nice restaurant with cutesy red sitting booths. Live music band on Friday playing mostly Johnny Cash's songs. The service was friendly. Watch your liquor especially near St Patrick's Day since I saw a cougar drunk and her significant other was escorting her out. Food is great. Definitely try the desserts. There is one dessert called The Titanic (A Double Serving of our Warm Chocolate Lava Cake Served on a Platter with Scoops of Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream, Garnished with Chocolate Chips, M&M's, Chopped Walnuts, Whipped Cream, Gummy worms and Drizzled With Chocolate, Strawberry and Carmel Sauces) which can be very scary yet a sweet tooth's fantasy.

Mr Q's has been around when I was 10 years old and that's over 17 years ago so I appreciated having a restaurant with years of establishment. I finally went with my mom and sister for lunch. The prices are reasonable, nothing over the top, especially their Chinese's lunch special with soup and soda and your choice of lunch selection for around 5 bucks. Fried noodle and duck sauce are complimentary in the beginning. Jello is given in the end. Can't go wrong with that. Now they added the Japanese stuff which is a plus. The sushi/sashimi prices are decent compared to the Japanese food around the area.

I heard bad reviews from this restaurants but then again it was only from two people and it also depends on your point of view. I thought it was decent and good food. Service is fast. Lunch time is crowded.

I love going to Havana Central for their mojitos. It has more flavors and great presentation such as the sugar cane. If alcohol isn't your thing, they have great delicious food. Truly try the cubano sandwich for the Cuban experience. The place is always a good vibe especially ever Friday where they have live band.

I love coming back to Henny's especially on Friday where they have Karaoke night. Show your vocal skills.

I tried the Chef's special which is sushi. I was amazed they bought variety into the steakhouse which is a big plus. The fried tuna was crisp on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. It was very fulfilling and yummy. Two dipping sauces - sweet and bold. For my entree - Braised Beef short rib. Don't be intimidated by the big bone displayed on the plate. It was very tender and favorable.

No need to talk about the chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream I had. The picture tells a lot.

It was original back in 1895 where the first burger was made. The story goes back when a customer came into Louis' Lunch asking for a very quick meal. Louis took some beef scrap and toast and BOOM...the first hamburger. And finally, we went to Louis' Lunch in New Haven today. It's a very small joint. The place kept their original setting and the burger grill is still used back in the early 1900's. Must be accurate with your order such as if you want a burger with cheese, tomatoes and onion then it's called "cheeseworks". The beef is fresh and never frozen. And PLEASE do not ask for ketchup and don't think about bringing your ketchup into the place or you will be yelled at. They want you to savor the flavor of the beef. Waiting is essential. We waited for almost 30 minutes for our burgers and it was worth the wait.

Taiwan is known for their teahouses either it's a social spots for friends or bringing your homework/laptops while having a cup of beverage. Saint's Alp definitely feels like home with there bubble tea and small bites. It's located near NYU so you see mostly college As usual, I always order my Taro milk tea. I was a little agitated that they added bubble (black starchy balls) even though I asked them not to put it in my drink. I haven't try the food but definitely next time, I will. Hopefully very soon and I will post it.

As a warning, it's a small shop; probably the size of two Starbucks restrooms. There is a sit down table but only for 2 -3 people and it's not a place to lounge for a long time - just quick eating and out. It's a great place for a quick simple and cheap eat. My mom remembered the shop back in Taiwan when she was a teenager and she said the shop's decor hasn't changed. As for my chicken leg over rice with meat sauce and veggie - it was soooo YUMMMYY!!!!
